Solid

Loud when turning

Rotates smoothly

Front element rotates when it focuses (Polarizer use will be affected)

Past 200mm, the auto-focus is inaccurate

More accurate on full frame as compared to APS-C (because of crop factor)

Can be reduced with a higher aperture (f/8 or 11)

More is visible in APS-C as compared to FF (because of crop factor)

None, requires tripod

Not recommended for video

Harder to turn in small increments

Easy to turn with large increments
